Thursday Morning Movie Matinees for Seniors

Seniors, join us on for a free morning movie matinee, popcorn and breakfast treats, then stay afterward for an optional pizza lunch if you'd like! Registration is required.

Held in the VanHuysen Community Room at the Spiegel Pittsford Community Center, our movies begin at 10:30am. Enjoy complimentary coffee, breakfast pastries and popcorn while you watch. An optional lunch of pizza, salad and dessert is available after the movie at a cost of $6.00. Advance reservations are required for the movie and for lunch. Annie - November 14

Seniors, join us on Thursday, November 14 for a free morning movie matinee featuring Annie – the classic 1982 a musical romp about the little red-headed orphan with a big heart! Enjoy a complimentary selection of coffee, breakfast pastries and popcorn while you watch the film, then stay afterward for a lunch of pizza, salad, and dessert if you’d like!

Annie (1982) is a film based on the popular comic book series about the spunky, red-headed "Little Orphan Annie." Annie lives in a miserable orphanage run by the tyrannical Miss Hannigan. When a wealthy businessman, Oliver Warbucks, takes in Annie to improve his public image, she experiences a life of luxury and kindness from the staff members who work in the Warbucks mansion. Annie's optimism and determination shine through as she searches for her real parents while bringing joy to those around her, including the grumpy Warbucks himself.
