Thursday Morning Movie Matinees for Seniors

Seniors, join us on for a free morning movie matinee, popcorn and breakfast treats, then stay afterward for an optional pizza lunch if you'd like! Registration is required.

Held in the VanHuysen Community Room at the Spiegel Pittsford Community Center, our movies begin at 10:30am. Enjoy complimentary coffee, breakfast pastries and popcorn while you watch. An optional lunch of pizza, salad and dessert is available after the movie at a cost of $6.00. Advance reservations are required for the movie and for lunch. Sabrina - April 3

Seniors, join us on Thursday, April 3, at 10:30am for a free morning movie matinee featuring Julia & Julia with Meryl Streep and Amy Adams! Enjoy a complimentary selection of coffee, breakfast pastries, and popcorn while you watch the film, then stay afterward for a lunch of pizza, salad, and dessert if you’d like!

Sabrina follows the story of Sabrina Fairchild, the daughter of the Larrabee family’s chauffeur. Ever since she was a child, Sabrina has loved playboy David Larrabee (played by Greg Kinnear), the younger son of the Larrabee family. Unfortunately, he barely even realizes she exists. After a transformative stay in Paris, Sabrina returns as a sophisticated and beautiful young woman who finally captures David’s attention. However, David’s older brother, Linus (played by Harrison Ford), worries that a romance between David and Sabrina could jeopardize a crucial business merger within the family business. As Linus tries to place obstacles in the young lovers’ path, the question remains: will Sabrina finally find her happily ever after? And what if her happily ever after isn’t what she expected at all?
