Mission / Vision Statement

The Technology Information department exists to provide integrated computer-related solutions to meet the needs of both residents and staff of the Town of Pittsford. We strive to develop, promote and lead a partnership between Town Business and Technology for improved customer service and to further the Town's commitment to a high standard of excellence.

Department Services

In the Town of Pittsford, the IT Department has the responsibility for long range scheduling of technology equipment replacement, computer systems planning, computer software support and computer hardware maintenance.

The IT staff supports the technology needs of more than 80 users of various office applications, electronic mail, telephone services, and the Internet. We also support the training needs of staff members to ensure that Town employees have the skills to effectively use the technology tools provided.

In collaboration with the Communications Director, the Technology Department manages the town's website and supports local not-for-profit groups in getting their messages out through the Community Bulletin Board as seen on cable channel 12.
