Message from Town Supervisor Bill Smith:
We have closed Town Hall for the day (Friday, 7/19/24). The nationwide computer outage has all systems at Town Hall and other facilities down. Our IT Director estimates it will take all day to get back up and running.
The Town Library is open today with some limitations. Computers are not available and library cards are needed to check out materials.
The Spiegel Community Center is fully open today. The senior lunch program will proceed as scheduled.
Needless to say, IT Director Angel Martinez and his staff are on top of things and are working hard to bring the Town’s systems back to normal.
Tonight’s Canalside Concert at Carpenter Park is unaffected by the computer outage. The Bill Tiberio Band will kick things off as scheduled at 6.30pm.
