D-Day Remembrance Ceremony at Pittsford Veterans Monument this Thursday, June 6 at 3:00pm

The Town of Pittsford will mark the 80th Anniversary of D-Day, the Allied landings in Normandy, France on June 6, 1944 for the liberation of Europe, remembering those service members from Pittsford who lost their lives in World War II. The Remembrance will take place tomorrow, June 6 at 3:00pm at the Pittsford Veterans Monument in Carpenter Park, 22 North Main Street. The ceremony will include patriotic musical performances by the Gates Keystone Police Pipes and Drums, a remembrance of Pittsford’s fallen servicemen in World War II and brief remarks.
