We are pleased to share that through the support of the Pittsford Community Library Foundation a mural inspired by the natural world will soon be installed in the Children’s Room. Preparation will begin in the coming weeks, with the new mural revealed after Memorial Day weekend. The original mural by Michael DeLuca has been in place since the building opened in 2005 and has sparked the imaginations of PCL’s youngest patrons with its vibrant depictions of classic children’s literature themes. Our hope is that the new mural will again foster imagination and creativity while also enhancing PCL’s learning environment and creating a sense of inclusion and connection.
