Department Services

The Town of Pittsford puts a high priority on informing the public, directly, about events, programs, issues and services. The Communications Director initiates, coordinates and sustains relationships with various constituencies, especially the general public and the media, ensuring a flow of information to and from town government regarding its policies and procedures, increases awareness of town programs, services and recreational and involvement opportunities.

The town's Communications Department provides a variety of publications for residents including "The Pittsford Messenger", the town's enewsletter, and several specialized mailings pertaining to events and seasonal services.

In collaboration with the Technology Department, the Communications Director provides content for the town's website and supports local nonprofit groups in getting their messages out through the Community Bulletin Board as seen on cable channel 12.

Complete the cable request form available in the downloadable forms area on this website. The form can be faxed, mailed or e-mailed to the Communications Director at the address listed on the cable request form.
