The Town of Pittsford puts a high priority on informing the public, directly, about events, programs, issues and services. The Communications Director initiates, coordinates and sustains relationships with various constituencies, especially the general public and the media, ensuring a flow of information to and from town government regarding its policies and procedures, increases awareness of town programs, services and recreational and involvement opportunities.
The town's Communications Department provides a variety of publications for residents including "The Pittsford Messenger", the town's enewsletter, and several specialized mailings pertaining to events and seasonal services.
In collaboration with the Technology Department, the Communications Director provides content for the town's website and supports local nonprofit groups in getting their messages out through the Community Bulletin Board as seen on cable channel 12.
I want to receive the town's online newsletter, "News & Reviews." How do I subscribe?
You can enter a subscription to the town's weekly e-news by submitting your contact information online or by completing a subscription form available at Town Hall and the Community Library.
