Children's Summer Reading Game
Entering Pre-K - entering 5th grade
This summer help us create a beautiful sticker mural together. Each week you complete your reading we will give you a sticker to add to the mural, together we will create a work of art. You can also earn up to four prizes for completing your summer reading. Track your reading by using our paper reading log.
Registration starts June 12, and you can start keeping track of your reading as soon as school ends. The first turn-in day for prizes is June 26. Prizes can be picked up at the library each week, or you can come in once at the end. For children who are preschool through entering 5th grade. The final turn-in day for all prizes is August 25.
Early Literacy Summer Reading Game
Babies & Toddlers: Ages 0 - 3
This fun summer program is designed just for babies and toddlers ages 0 to 3. It runs from June 26 through August 25, and is designed to get them (and you) singing, laughing, and learning. Pick up a game board starting June 12 to join the fun.
Teen Summer Reading Game
TEENS: Entering Grades 6-12
Read more to win more during PCL's Teen Summer Reading! Read to earn grand prize raffle tickets and up to two free books, and complete activities to earn additional prizes. Teens entering grades 6-12 can participate. The game begins June 26, and optional pre-registration begins June 12. The last day to turn in completed challenges is August 12.
Adult Summer Reading Game
Adults: Age 18+
Anyone over 18 is invited to join our summer reading game for adults! No registration is required for this game, simply pick up a challenge sheet from the library or participate online and start reading, listening, and watching. All participants will be able to select one book to take home with them at the end of the summer, and two participants will be selected to win a grand prize! Each challenge completed is one entry into our grand prize drawing. Challenge sheets will be available starting June 12, and completed challenges can be turned in starting June 26. The last day to turn in completed challenges is August 12.
