11th Annual Duck Drop to be held on July 17th

Pittsford Youth Services will hold its 11th Annual Duck Drop fundraising event on Friday, July 17th, following the Town's summer concert featuring the band Orient Express in the Port of Pittsford Park.  Tickets are available at the following locations: Pittsford's Spiegel Community Center (Information Desk & Child Care Center); in front of Rite Aide in Bushnell's Basin on July 11th and 12th ; and in front of Pontillo's in the Village during the month of July.   For more information, call 248-6299 or e-mail pys2486299@aol.com.  

In conjunction with the Duck Drop, Pittsford Youth Services is also holding a Duck Drop Poetry Contest.  Poems should be no longer than four lines and should be short enough to read easily on 2x4 foot signs.  The winning poem will be placed on these signs to help advertise the annual Duck Drop.  E-mail your entry to pys2486299@aol.com.  The winner will receive 5 duck drop tickets ($25 value) and a 2009 Duck Drop T-shirt.  The winning entry and runners up will be posted on the PYS website www.pittsfordyouthservices.org and will be recognized the night of the event.
