Summer Reading Programs start June 26

Summer is the perfect time to catch up with a good book and enjoy a variety of programs at the Library! The Pittsford Community Library has great programs for all ages and some fun Summer Reading programs. See below, and click the brochure links, for information on our “Build a Better World” Summer Reading programs for children, tweens & teens, and adults - all three programs include fun prizes for participants!

Build a Better World Reading Game

The Library is the perfect place for children and families to become empowered to build a better world! Pick up your registration packet starting June 12 and start reading as soon as school ends. The first turn-in day for prizes is June 26. The last turn-in day is August 11. For full information, click here for the program brochure.


Tween & Teen Summer Reading: Build a Better World

Get ready for six weeks of fun! Special events include make your own slime, Bingo night, an after-hours teen lock-in, a cupcake contest and more. Pick up a brochure in the Teen Place for details. For students entering grades 6-12. For full information, click here for the program brochure.

Adult Summer Reading Program: Build a Better World

Participate in our adult summer reading challenge for a weekly chance to win a gift card to various local establishments! There’s several challenges to complete that have to do with the library or reading. Pick up your challenge sheet starting June 12 at the table near New Books or upstairs at the Reference desk.
