Children's Summer Reading

  Teen Summer Reading

Reading Game for Children (preschool through entering 5th grade)

Hello, space travelers! This year we’re celebrating the fact that there is A UNIVERSE OF STORIES! Travel the galaxy with us and pick up prizes along the way. Enter our drawing each week by trying a kind of book you don’t normally read. You can pick up your reading packet at the Children’s Desk starting June 10. The first turn-in day for prizes is Monday, June 24. The last day for prizes is Saturday, August 10. Click here for the children's full summer brochure.

Tweens & Teens Summer Reading

This summer, the universe is the limit for PCL’s teen readers, creators, and volunteers! Special events for students entering grades 6-12 include: Cupcake Wars, ROC City Henna, Tiny Terrariums, and Space After Hours. Every book read is a chance to win a prize during the Teen Summer Reading Game, and plenty of volunteer opportunities will be offered throughout the summer. Pick up a brochure at the Reference Desk for details. Teen Summer Reading runs from June 24 - August 10. Click her for the full Tweens & Teen's summer brochure.
