After School Program Aide

The Town of Pittsford Recreation Department has an opening for an After School Program Aide.
This employee assists in the daily After School Care Center, including interacting with the children, assisting with homework, and designing activities for indoor and outdoor settings. The candidate must be flexible and have experience working with children.
Hours of the After School Program are Monday through Friday from 2:45 pm to 6:00 pm and follow the Pittsford School calendar.
This is a part time position with a pay rate of $8.00 per hour.

Child Care Center Aide

This employee assists in the daily operation of the Child Care Center, including interacting with the children in free play and structured settings, setting up lunch and snack times and reading and facilitating activities. The candidate must be flexible and punctual, have experience working with children ages 10 months to 6 years of age and be able to handle all situations involved with the child care field.
Hours of the employment are subject to change and include: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11:30am to 2:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Rate of pay is $8.00 per hour.

Lifeguards and Swimming Instructors

The Town of Pittsford Recreation Department has openings for Lifeguards and Swimming Instructors in the Aquatics program.
Week nights and weekend hours are available.
The pay range for Lifeguard positions start at $7.25 per hour.
• Lifeguard certification is required.
The pay range for Swimming Instructor positions start at $8.50 per hour.
• Certification as a lifeguard or water safety instructor is preferred.
