The Town of Pittsford's annual summer event, Positively Pittsford, is this Saturday from 12 noon to 9PM in the municipal parking lot behind the Pittsford Community Library, 24 State Street. Positively Pittsford features food, fun and live music for the whole family. The Pittsford-Mendon High School Choir and Jazz Ensemble kicks off the event with a performance at noon, followed by Ghostriders at 2PM and the Coupe DeVilles at 3:30pm. The Unlimited will headline the event at 6PM.

Activities include carnival games, face-painting and crafts plus the Giant Rapid Slide, Turbo Tubs, the Trackless Train and an obstacle course. Adventures in Climbing will bring its Rock Wall and Sports Combo Bounce House, and Wegmans will offer cooking demonstrations and samplings. The Seneca Park ZooMobile will be on hand, and Sweet & Sassy Salon will offer free hair-dos. A variety of not-for-profit groups will provide information and activities as well.

And don't forget about the food! There's something for everyone: American Legion Sausage Stand, Ben & Jerry's ice cream cones and sundaes, Dom Koala's Old Time Kettle Korn, Nancy's Fried Dough, plus a variety of meals, salads, snacks, desserts and drinks from Sanibel Cottage, Wegmans Food Markets, Simply Crepes, The Poppers, Uncle Russ's Italian Ices, Half Moon and Thirsty Young Gentlemen.
