The Town Board is currently seeking nominations for Pittsford's 2011 Citizen of the Year. This award is presented annually to an individual (or individuals) whose “hard work, generosity and dedication has improved the quality of life in our community.” Nominees for Citizen of the Year must meet the following qualifications:

• He/She is a Pittsford resident, community volunteer or business person
• He/She has made a significant contribution to the community, in a volunteer capacity or in their field of endeavor
