Memorial Day Parade

Monday, May 26 @ 10:00AM
Traditional patriotic parade through the village center honoring our veterans and those serving in the armed services, featuring a variety of marching bands and community groups; memorial service held after the parade at Pittsford Cemetery to honor the fallen.

Pittsford Triathlon

Sunday, June 1 @ 7:00AM
A true test of endurance featuring biking and running through Pittsford and a swim in the Pittsford Mendon High School pool.  Registration information as the date nears at www.townofpittsford.org .

Summer Concert Series at the Port of Pittsford Park

Friday, June 7 – Friday, August 15
Free annual concert series along the canal at the Port of Pittsford Park on Friday evenings, featuring a variety of musical styles throughout the season; open to the public.  Port of Pittsford Park includes a new band pavilion and improved amenities for boaters – potable water, electrical hookups and additional dock space.

Pittsford Food Truck and Music Fest

Saturday, June 14, Noon - 9:00PM
The town’s first big event of the season featuring delicious food from a variety of regional food trucks and great music all day, plus adventure and inflatable rides and plenty of games and activities. Held in the municipal parking lot behind the Pittsford Community Library.  Admission is free and food is available for purchase; open to the public.

Family Outdoor Movies

Giant outdoor movie screen, popcorn, beverages, treats and more on Thursday evenings at Thornell Farm Park.

Positively Pittsford Festival

Saturday, September 13, Noon - 9:00PM
Our last big event of the season – more games, rides, activities, food from local restaurants, festival-style treats and great music, plus an awesome fireworks display over the canal at 9:00PM.  Held in the municipal parking lot behind the Pittsford Community Library.  Admission is free and food is available for purchase; open to the public.

Family Halloween Fest

Sunday, October 26, 2:00 – 5:00PM at St. John Fisher College
A free family friendly Halloween party with trick-or-treating, games, activities, prizes, music and more.

Annual Kids’ Trout Fishing Derby

Saturday, May 17, 8:00 – 11:00AM
Annual fishing derby with trophies awarded in various age groups; registration required.  Also features fish hatchery tours and complimentary refreshments. For more information click here.

American Legion Rayson-Miller Post 899 event:

Veteran’s Day

Tuesday, November 11, 11:00AM
This annual ceremony honoring all those in our armed services who serve, or have served, our country takes place on Veterans Day at the Veterans Monument in Carpenter Park at the Port of Pittsford, 22 North Main Street. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend this moving tribute, which includes a presentation of colors, the placement of wreaths, a rifle salute and the playing of Taps.  A reception, also open to the public, follows at the American Legion Post, 21 North Main Street.

Candlelight Night

Tuesday, December 2, 5-9PM in the Village of Pittsford
An annual holiday celebration in the Village of Pittsford featuring live music, carolers, horse-drawn wagon rides, visits with Santa and the lighting of village Christmas trees.  Many merchants offer holiday treats and special sale items as well.
